Freedom Fighter Pleated Skirt

The FREEDOM FIGHTER COLLECTION HAS A NEW FIGHTER, joining Leila Khaled, MEET FATIMA BERNAWI, a force of unwavering, unapologetic resistance in the plight of Palestinian freedom & resilience. This photo of her was taken in the midst of given a life sentence in Isr@eli courts and being told to face the camera for her mugshot. As a response, she stuck her tongue out as a mockery of the judge and court systems - showing that her spirit was not afflicted in the midst of such ruling.

ISME (meaning, “my name is”) is a call to remember these revolutionary Palestinian women, and know their names. In my continuous learning of their life stories and their uncanny bravery it has ignited my will to keep creating and creating this wearable protest — and —I encourage you all to delve deep and get to know them as well! Let them be a symbol of the power of action and sheer badassery!
